METHODOLOGY


1. Observe a bird and listen their song 2. Record the song and surrounding environment-- wind, trees, airplanes, highways 3. Take notes while you listen 4. Before you leave take a picture of where you were sitting or standing 5. That night print out a picture of the area you observed and tape it to the wall above your bed 6. Print out a picture of the bird and put it under your pillow 7. Upon waking the next day play the field recording you took of the bird in its environment 8. While listening use your notes to write a poem 9. Arrange the poem into the shape of the birdsong
