METHODOLOGY


1. Observe a bird 2. Listen to its birdsong 3. Take a field recording of the song 4. Take a picture, if not of the bird precisely, then of the landscape or moment of observation 5. That night, print out a picture of the area you observed the bird in and tape it to your bedframe or wall above your bed 6. Print out a picture of the bird and put it under your pillow 7. Play the field recording of the bird or a recording of the birdsong 8. Upon waking up listen to the bird song again & write the poem
